Designing out waste
Circular fashion starts with the materials themselves. Our fabrics are made using GOTS certified organic cotton and innovative biodegradable elastane. Unlike conventional synthetic yoga and activewear, our circular materials are designed to break down without leaving harmful substances behind.
This matters because traditional elastane-based sportswear can remain in the environment for decades. By choosing materials designed for circularity, we are rethinking what happens to clothing beyond the wardrobe.
Our garments are also designed to last. We focus on quality, durability and timeless design rather than producing clothing for a single season. And when a favourite piece needs a little attention, we provide repair kits to help extend its life.
Closing the loop
True circularity means thinking about what happens after use, too.
Through our take-back system, customers can return their Wellicious garments when they have reached the end of their journey. Our biodegradable yoga and activewear can then be guided through a carefully managed decomposition process, supported by a scientific team. The goal is to return the material safely to the biological cycle, where it can become biomass and nutrients for other organisms.
This is the difference between simply making clothing that is “less bad” and rethinking the system to create more good.
