Wellicious began with a simple organic cotton collection and has grown into a full range of circular yoga and activewear that is Cradle to Cradle Gold Certified and made entirely in Europe.
Our most exciting breakthrough has been the development of our biodegradable fabrics. This journey took more than six years and brought a surprising amount of joy, even during the more challenging moments. Finding the right yarns and materials seemed endless at times, and yes, Heike even tested materials by composting them in her own garage. Eventually we discovered the perfect blend of organic cotton and stretch to create our innovative new circular fabric, now used in all our beautiful collections.

We will ensure they are composted correctly, accelerating the break down process so they return to nature as completely as possible. Even biodegradable fibres can leave tiny particles behind, so we are actively working on an improved, faster and even more sustainable decomposition method.
