Extraordinary Food and Drink Festival, Essex UK - 21st and 22nd July 2012

Second year of the Essex Chronicle Festival of Food and Drink. Celebrating the extraordinary Food and Drink from our region. From Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July 2012 at Cressing Temple Barns, Near Braintree, Essex.

The weekend is packed full of fabulous food and drink, celebrity chefs, local chefs, kids cookery classes, butchery demonstrations, live music, over 100 exhibitors and an outdoor food court where you can eat drink and be merry.

The food court has seating for over 500 visitors and a choice of over 20 different types of food and drink including seafood and champagne, Indian street food, pit roast lamb and for cider and beer lovers, the very best from Aspalls and Adnams.

Kids cookery classes will be run by Ursula Ferringo - a talented and experienced cook with a passion for teaching and a love of all things Italian. Classes are for children aged between 6 and 12 years. Registrations will be taken at the festival and the classes are free!

Three fabulous celebrity chefs demonstrating their culinary expertise in the cookery theatre over the weekend alongside our very own top Essex chefs.
