The London Green Fair, 9th & 10th June 2012 - Regent's Park - FREE

The London Green Fair is the leading free environmental festival in London. 2012 will be the 20th anniversary of our event, which is built on the foundations laid by the Camden Green Fair all those years ago...
From a small gathering of focused activists held in the railway arches at Kings Cross, this flagship environmental festival is now held each year in Regent's Park, and attracts tens of thousands of people. Remaining true to their roots, they are set up as a social enterprise, and provide a platform for individuals and organisations to come together to celebrate all that is good and green about our city.
They are registered as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company and rely on the work of some 150 volunteers, community groups, local and national organisations to make the event happen, and couldn't function without them.
The London Green Fair is dedicated to access, inclusion and diversity - they believe its important that the event remains free to attend, and that it can continue to provide a platform for communities from across London.
In 2011 they gave away over 500 trees free of charge to the visitors to help offset the carbon used in the event infrastructure delivery. This year The London Green Fair is aiming to double this! For more information please visit: http://www.londongreenfair.org/index.html← Previous Post Next Post →
