I was born in Cape Town. Since I was a girl I had a burning desire in my heart for movement, dance and music. However, being a child of colour, I was devout of the possibility to attend a ballet school . At age 10 I was very lucky to become the youngest member of a political dance group against the apartheid system. However because of the commitment of our family, the situation became somewhat dicey, so we moved to Germany. I finally had the opportunity to complete training as a dancer and a few years later followed the trainings as a certified movement therapist, yoga and Pilates teacher . Through my work I have the opportunity to travel a lot . Each trip brings me closer to what I've been doing with absolute devotion for 23 years - teaching , lead trainings and my great curiosity about the human body . Whether, in my own yoga and Pilates studio in Munich, as an expert in front of the camera or author, I am passionate about what I do. I teach classical Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Pilates and I work a lot with the fascia . For me, the top priority is to give my students room and never force them into a specific pattern. Why should I force someone to lie on their back in Savasana if they feel comfortable on their belly?!

A background in dance and movement brought me to train with STOTT pilates and I currently teach reformer pilates at Bootcamp Pilates City and Notting Hill studios mainly. I am also a National Academy of Sports Medicine qualified Personal Trainer and currently specializing as a Sports Nutrition Specialist. I love an active lifestyle and promoting healthy, strong bodies that can work and play hard!

Toronto, CanadaCristin developed her passion for physical movement as a young dancer in New Hampshire’s White Mountains and went on to earn Bachelors degrees in both Dance Performance Studies and Communications from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island where she graduated magna cum laude in 2005. After college, Cristin danced professionally with Boston’s most highly acclaimed contemporary dance company, Prometheus Dance from 2006-2009. During those years, she additionally choreographed numerous theatrical productions and taught various styles of dance in the Boston area while earning a 600-hour comprehensive certification in Pilates (mat, reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, high chair, barrels, magic circle and ped-o-pull) by the worldwide leading educator of classical Pilates, Power Pilates, NYC.
Cristin relocated to San Francisco in 2009 to start her first business, Brio Pilates and dedicate 15 months to a rigorous study of nutrition at Bauman College in Berkeley. Since 2005, Cristin has balanced her work with a hobby of working as a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) actor in many popular films, television shows and commercials.
Cristin is passionate about bringing supreme health to everyone that she is fortunate to reach. She believes that creating community through nutritious food and movement is the best way to do this. With her extensive professional experience in the fields of exercise, kinesiology, dance performance, and holistic nutrition, Cristin brings an abundance of knowledge to the table.

I am a member of the Institut Français de Yoga Ile de France. To further improve my own practice and teachings I took private lessons with France Réocreux (Institut Français de Yoga, Iyengar et Yoga de L’Energie). I am currently training to become a Yoga therapist and practice Zazen meditation.

The Dailey Method FounderJill grew up in Denver, Colorado where she trained in ballet and dance. In 1992 she moved to San Francisco where she began her fitness career. Jill trained extensively in Pilates, earning her certification with both the Pilates Guild, and The Physical Mind Institute. She also earned her ACSM certification. Jill began working one on one with clients then opened her own personal training Studio in 1995 whist building a strong knowledge in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
In 1994 she was introduced to the Lotte Berk Method in New York and began incorporating this into her own training, but knew eventually she wanted to solely teach a class that followed this format.
That dream was realised in 2000, when Jill created The Dailey Method®, the first barre class on the West Coast. The result of her extensive knowledge and experience creating the most efficient mix of muscle strengthening and flexibility exercises. The Dailey Method® is a very focused and effective class that provides quick physical results.
The original Dailey Method Studio opened during the summer of 2000 in San Francisco Marina's District. Jill and her husband Doug now own 3 Bay Area locations and oversee 40 other franchise Dailey Method studios in the USA, Canada, and France.
Jill launched a DVD titled “No Excuses” that offers two great workouts.
