“Wellicious fabrics are so unique and so comfortable - they make me feel like I am floating in my yoga classes.”
Leipzig, GermanyAshtanga Yoga, RYT200Movement has always been a fascinating tool to connect with the body for me. During my childhood, I have been doing Ballet for many years. Later on I continued dancing Jazz Dance in professional formations and practiced Pilates.
It seemed just a matter of time that I would eventually get in touch with Yoga. I discovered the magics of connecting the fascination of movement with the mind in the Netherlands, where I met my first Yoga teachers. Especially the effects of Ashtanga Yoga were mesmerizing to me. Ashtanga Yoga is a very dynamic Yoga practice that requires breathing awareness and a focused mind. The healthy and meditative effects of this method profoundly influenced my way of looking at movement and physical practice.
I have been traveling to Mysore, the home of Ashtanga Yoga, to deepen my Yoga practice and to become a Yoga teacher and instructor of the Ashtanga Yoga method. After my travels and studies of Yoga in India, I settled in Leipzig, Germany, and have been teaching Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga there ever since.

Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha YogaBorn in Toronto, Canada in 1978. I studied dance as a child modern, tap and ballet. Yoga and meditation was natural to me and I practiced as a child learning mainly from books. I was inspired by including Krishnamuti and Gandhi.
In 1996 I travelled to the north of India, Ladehk and studied Buddhist meditation. Afterwards, returning to practice yoga and meditation.
Moving to Los Angeles in 1998 for work in between travels I studied with Bikram Choudhury in his small studio on Robertson and Wilshire for several years, sometimes practicing twice a day. I noticed that this heated asana practice gave me great strength in my daily life.
In 2000 I moved to Paris and at the time there was no Bikram studio. I went back to practicing yoga through books and internet. Sivananda, Jivamukti and Iyengar yoga. Travelling to Africa and India and through Europe as a script supervisor and practicing different disciplines of yoga.
In 2002 I moved to Grasse in the south of france and lived a 'raw food lifestyle' and growing produce in the garden.
I started teaching Vinyasa and Hatha yoga in 2005 in Antibes. Afterwards I discovered Ashtanga yoga on one of my trips to India.
I opened a small studio in 2008 and began teaching Ashtanga yoga in 2009.
After many years of yoga I have found a yogic discipline that encompasses the many different schools I have practiced. I am so glad to be able to share this complete yoga system with all who wish to learn. The many different types of yoga that I have learned previously allow me be a very knowledgable, compassionate and adaptable teacher.
My mission is to empower people to live fearlessly in the present moment.

Paris, FranceAshtanga YogaLinda was first introduced to yoga in 1996 in Toronto, Canada with Ron Reid and Diane Bruni. She had been in a car accident in 1995 and was in physical therapy when she became interested in yoga as a way to compliment the therapy.
In 1997 she moved to New York City with her work in the fashion business while continuing a daily ashtanga practice studying under Eddie Stern. The year 2000 brought her to Paris, France. After thirteen years in the world of fashion she decided it was the time to move fully into the direction she had been moving since her first yoga class. So she started teaching yoga as her own study and practice continues. Linda and her husband, Gerald Disse, opened Ashtanga Paris in February 2004.
She studied yogic scriptures and philosophy, having completed a 250 hour study program of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, and a 120 hour course on the Bhagavad Gita under the supervision of Georg Feuerstein. She was one of his 10 mentoring students until he passed away. Linda is also a student of Sri O.P. Tiwari and is certified by him to teach kriyas and pranayama.
Ashtanga YogaAt a young age as a fully committed gymnast, she completely dedicated a few years to yoga and completed a training to get a yoga teacher 200hr AYA certification (Yoga Alliance). She is practicing yoga now ten years ago.
At first she just sought the purely physical aspect in yoga. That changed over the years and yoga became her purpose in life. She has tried a variety of directions and since then she is practicing Ashtanga Yoga.
She has become a yoga teacher, because yoga is a unique combination of movement, breathing techniques and contemplation.
Yoga is a philosophy that influences life in an integral way. When passing on these teachings to her students she can see the changes in them and feels pure joy and gratitude.
Lymm, United KingdomAshtanga YogaI am a Registered Yoga Alliance teacher and have ten years' experience. I primarily practice ashtanga, although I sometimes venture out into other styles. Teaching yoga only began as a part-time job in Thailand, where I'm originally from. Before yoga began, I worked on television (and still do), accepting work acting in TV films both in Thailand and internationally. What began as a small part of my life, has now grown to become an integral part of who I am.
I have visited Mysore India twice and spent one month each visit practicing under the guidance of Sri. K Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath. My style of teaching aims to help students living with everday aches and pains overcome these discomforts through the use of things such as blocks and straps while also keeping them fit.
London, United KingdomAsthanga & Vinyasa Flow YogaI teach Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga in London and on international yoga retreats and workshops, including Yoga Teacher Training in Goa. Ashtanga is taught in the Mysore tradition of Sri K Patabbhi Jois and Vinyasa Krama, or Hatha Flow, is an intelligent linking of poses rooted in classical yogic traditions that explores the physical, mental and subtle aspects of the practice. I consider Sri T Krishnamacharya to be the Grandfather of modern yoga and endeavor to teach all 8 limbs of ‘classical' Ashtanga in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras (200 B.C.). I'm a believer in the sacred power of yoga, the awakening of the Kundalini, and the transcendent path to Self-Realisation that Tantric mystics describe as a journey to the Divine through reverence and perfection of body, breath, mind and spirit.
Yoga philosophy is integrated with asana and breath to explore the inner/outer techniques of Vinyasa Yoga that transform the mind and body, accelerate personal growth and illuminate one's highest potential to find purpose and meaning in life. I aim to reveal the spiritual path underlying the practice and the technology to stabilize the mind, so we can shed the veils of Maya perpetuated by the ego, glimpse at our true nature and liberate ourselves from suffering. My approach is a deep physical and psychological practice that moves beyond a mere physical experience to make the spiritual yogic inquiry authentic and relevant to real life. The ultimate aim of yoga is love, liberation and freedom. Moksha.
Vienna, AustriaAshtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pre & Postnatal YogaAn affair of the heart.
Since my first encounter with yoga, it is an integral part of my life. With yoga I found the key to my heart. It opens my body, my mind, and my soul through thoughtful movement and conscious breathing. This meditative process makes me experience a unique sense of wholeness and touches my heart.
I’m offering Ashtanga and Yin yoga classes for beginners and advancers in individual and group lessons and, since recently, classes in pre- and postnatal yoga. It is my desire to share my experiences and knowledge with my students.
