Alin teaches classical Hatha Yoga (Iyengar inspired). The Iyengar tradition was handed down to her by her mother early on – at the sweet age of only 5 years the small Alin saw her mother in headstand (Sirsasana). To see her Mother Kali stand on her head, was the beginning of a series of moments from her childhood that she still carries with her today. Numerous joint and long trips to India followed, having spent exciting times in the wondrous world of ashrams. The roots of her spirituality, a deep understanding of yoga and meditation were born here, in her childhood in India.
And it tied a strong bond between mother and daughter - today they complement each other in their annual workshops and yoga trips. Alin and her mother Kali also teach twice a year their legendary yoga retreats in Kalis beautiful spa resort "Reguengo" in Portugal (www.reguengo.com). They share this passion: to give each participant a grounded yoga foundation that can grow the wings of the soul. Always with the right touch of humor and lightness!
lin studied different yoga styles such as Iyengar yoga, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. She is now a mother of three children and accompanied in her pre- and postnatal yoga courses many mothers on the way to intimate connection with their babies.

Munich, GermanyYoga/Pilates, Founder WOYO®Sonja's biography is marked by dancing, sports, fitness and of course yoga. Originally Sonja was at home in dentistry - she then left this area early to deal intensively with more physically and spiritually oriented subjects. Sonja made her first yogic experiences directly in India, where she had her first encounter with the fascinating Indian spirituality.
During her time as a fitness professional in the group training area and as a personnel manager for a large fitness chain, Sonja recognized early on the trend with yoga and developed the yoga WOYO® concept for a wider audience. In addition to her passion for yoga, Sonja's interests cover various forms of modern body work such as Pilates and the new trend Aerial Yoga. Sonja studied yoga styles such as Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. Sonja fulfilled her wish for her own yoga studio in 2003 when they opened together with Peter Schlösser the WOYO® Club in Munich. In the same year they offered the first Hatha Yoga training (WOYO style). Sonja feels that teaching and training/mentoring is her great passion and vocation. Sonja is known for her gift, to convey clearly and understandably the things she learned through many years of experience in the classroom.

Dublin, IrelandHatha Yoga & Founder of yogandhaSinead Duffy discovered meditation long before Hatha yoga in an ashram in Java, where she spent some months. Following her heart, she went on to study Human Rights and worked in Kenya, Lebanon, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Mozambique. She was living & working in Addis Ababa when she did her first Hatha yoga class. Sinead came home from her first ever yoga class & announced to her brand new husband that she had to move to India. Having waited 8 years to live in the same country, he let her off again and she went to train at Sivananda, Vivekananda, & finally studied Vipasana. She then headed back to Africa to teach yoga (and be a more present wife). She has been teaching Hatha yoga for 10 great years. Ever since Java, herbs in the form of topically applied oils (aromatherapy oils) had been a part of her meditation & naturally, her yoga practice. Her students repeatedly asked her to make a range of yoga oils specifically based on their sankalpa (intention). 3 years of meditation and blending later, Yogandha was born. Gandha is the use of fragrant substances to enhance yoga. Sinead travels to festivals throughout Europe teaching about how to incorporate gandha with practice & self-massage to deepen self-connection.

Paris, FranceHatha & Prenatal Yoga, Yoga TherapyIt is as an actress of an American acting troupe , where I discovered yoga to calm me down before I went on stage . Yoga is very important for me and helps me to find more balance and to feel more in tune with myself.
Back on stage in Paris and after the creation of my own theater group, I studied yoga and finished a teacher training at the Center for Yoga with Michelle Marsh Jacobi. This training is recognized by Yoga Alliance and allows me to teach in two languages that I speak fluently.
Yoga is a way for me to find to myself . The body is the temple of the soul and yoga is a way to get back to the basics , where our inner voice can express itself and where you learn to listen properly to your yourself. In this way we become more resilient, more relaxed and experience physical as well as mental harmony.
Because I have personally experienced the benefits of yoga on body and mind, I believe in the power of it and now want to support people in need with this knowledge. With this hope in mind, I am educating myself further to become a yoga therapist.
'Throughout the natural materials and fabric Wellicious uses, they respect environment and also the body, I like that! '

London, United KingdomHimalayan Hatha Yoga, AyurvedaWith a 10 years background as a Human Resources Professional within the Financial Services sector, I started practising yoga in 2007 and ever since wanted to learn more about the philosophy behind. I appreciate the deep connection between body and soul in a way I never did before and how beneficial it is, not only physically but on a more subtle level. Through yoga I found access to myself, to my inner truth and to my soul – found peace within. In October 2010 I decided that I want to deepen this knowledge in India, the place of origin of Yoga & Ayurveda.
With the inspiration and support of my teacher Yogi Ashokananda I set off to Vrindaban in India, where this beautiful journey started. I still feel blessed for all the lovely experiences made during my trip and my studies in India and Thailand. In November 2011 – back from my trip – I started working for Wellicious, an eco-friendly, ethical yet feminine and luxurious yoga fashion brand and parallel to my work I certified as a Himalayan Hatha Yoga Teacher with Yogi Ashokananda. I am focussing on combining my professional skills with my yoga teaching and holistic skills. I am teaching in London and currently in Zurich where together with a friend we run detox weeks in spring and autumn. My passion for healthy lifestyle, helping others to understand the benefits of yoga, food, thoughts and behaviour is my vision...
Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha YogaBorn in Toronto, Canada in 1978. I studied dance as a child modern, tap and ballet. Yoga and meditation was natural to me and I practiced as a child learning mainly from books. I was inspired by including Krishnamuti and Gandhi.
In 1996 I travelled to the north of India, Ladehk and studied Buddhist meditation. Afterwards, returning to practice yoga and meditation.
Moving to Los Angeles in 1998 for work in between travels I studied with Bikram Choudhury in his small studio on Robertson and Wilshire for several years, sometimes practicing twice a day. I noticed that this heated asana practice gave me great strength in my daily life.
In 2000 I moved to Paris and at the time there was no Bikram studio. I went back to practicing yoga through books and internet. Sivananda, Jivamukti and Iyengar yoga. Travelling to Africa and India and through Europe as a script supervisor and practicing different disciplines of yoga.
In 2002 I moved to Grasse in the south of france and lived a 'raw food lifestyle' and growing produce in the garden.
I started teaching Vinyasa and Hatha yoga in 2005 in Antibes. Afterwards I discovered Ashtanga yoga on one of my trips to India.
I opened a small studio in 2008 and began teaching Ashtanga yoga in 2009.
After many years of yoga I have found a yogic discipline that encompasses the many different schools I have practiced. I am so glad to be able to share this complete yoga system with all who wish to learn. The many different types of yoga that I have learned previously allow me be a very knowledgable, compassionate and adaptable teacher.
My mission is to empower people to live fearlessly in the present moment.
Berlin, GermanyHatha YogaWhile I was working in Spain in summer 2003, I went barefoot in the sand to my first Yoga class early in the morning. After the first asanas I already felt very familiar with the poses, as if I had done Yoga some time earlier. Characterized by this positive experience it was no surprise that Yoga became a morning ritual for me. I started my journey to Asia with the wish to discover more about Yoga. I visited convents and ashrams, where I learned how to meditate and be silent. I got to know many different Yoga teachers and styles in Thailand and India. I began to realise that I wanted to share my experience with others. In Berlin in 2007 I finally found a Yoga place and style in which I have been taught and became a teacher myself. City Yoga Shri Community in Berlin. In summer 2007 I graduated in another Hatha Yoga Teaching Training by Randall O’Leary at Koh Phangan. To share my Yoga passion with my students is the greatest gift for me.

Oslo, NorwayHatha Yoga & pre/post natalSince I stumbled upon B.K.S. Iyengar’s little red book The Tree of Yoga in the Buddhist Centre in East London as a student in ’98, yoga has been a much loved and ever present part of my life. I teach Iyengar-based, dynamic Hatha yoga - yoga that calms the mind, tones the body and feeds the soul. During the last six years I have had three children…, and consequently pregnancy yoga, yoga during labour and mummy/baby yoga has been the focus of both my teaching and my own practice. I have experienced first-hand the benefits of yoga through pregnancy, birth and in reclaiming a strong and healthy post-baby body in a safe and gentle way. This journey is documented on my blog www.yogamamma.tumblr.com.
After many years of teaching in London I am back in my native Oslo, where I continue to teach dynamic Hatha and pre/post natal.
Yoga is not about becoming someone else, someone better. It is about rediscovering and accepting who you really are, beneath the layers of social expectations, destructive habits and general stress and agitation of modern life. For me, teaching yoga is about gently guiding people back to themselves, to find the stillness and strength within.
Berlin, GermanyHatha YogaKerstin has been practicing Yoga for the past 16 years. She spent many years in India deepening her own practice and teaching students from all over the world. She is certified as "Advanced Yoga Teacher" by the Worldwide Yoga Alliance for the 500 hours standart for Registered Yoga Schools and is initiated by Swami Kailasananda (Yoga Acharya of Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashrams in Europe). She holds diploma from the "Yoga Vedanta Academy" of Rishikesh as well as the title "Yoga Acharya" (meaning "master of Yoga"- whereby Kerstin insists that in her eyes this is just a title for someone who persistantly follows her own practice humbly sharing it with others). Besides that she trained in classical Hatha Yoga Anatomy with Yoga Acharya Swami Sivadasananda, in Ashtanga Yoga with Dr. Ron Steiner, did advanced teachers trainings regarding Breathing and Bandhas (energy locks) and studied the human Chakra System (energy centres) as well as Vedanta Philosophy, Ayurveda and several Meditation Techniques. She studied Kriya Yoga during a one year lecture after the original scriptures of Paramahansa Yogananda.
In the many years of her own practice she collected lots of inspiration from numerous teachers at Yoga ashrams and centres in the USA, Europe and, of course, India. Thus her teaching combines different elements from the "system" Yoga- from classical Hatha to more dynamic Ashtanga- and she emphasizes on not only focusing on the body and to not narrow down the teaching to the mere "form".
Her passion and the joy from Yoga touch the students in her classes and therefor Kerstin is teaching the "complete package of Yoga, which cannot only de-stress and relax your life but very much enrich it with more health, tranquility and real joy shining from inside out."
Having 15 years of experience on stages and in studios as a TV-presenter Kerstin knows how to use body and voice to really reach the receiver. She uses this talent to help her students into a deep experience during their own practice and shows them how to take "Yoga from the mat into everyday life".
"Yoga has changed my life 180 degrees. It helped me to let go of stress and drama in my life. It has given me the tools to again and again tap into the source and turned me into one of the happiest and healthiest people I know. Yoga shows you a way to treat yourself better, to be a better version of yourself. This is the experience I want to share."
Velp, NetherlandsI fell in love with yoga when I took my first class about ten years ago. Since that day, my love for yoga just kept on growing.
Yoga is my life. The joy and bliss of practicing and teaching amazes me still. It’s this feeling of joy and bliss I'd love to share with everyone, everywhere.
That's why I completed two certified teacher trainings and continue to study yoga and health. I love to join classes, workshops and masterclasses, and am inspired by and grateful for all my teachers - past, present and future. I’ve specialized myself in Women’s Health and Yogic Diet, on which I am currently writing a book.
I teach my classes at my own studio in the Netherlands. Besides those classes, I've taught workshops and retreats in Italy, France, Morocco and the USA (and beyond)!
