Tegan hails from the USA but lives in London. She is a wanderer at heart and spends all of her free time traveling the world. Her background in dance, gymnastics, and military training means that her Vinyasa classes focus on strength, alignment and beautiful flow. Tegan came to Yoga during her architectural Masters degree. She found her high intensity studies coupled with her natural high energy to be draining, stressful and downright anxiety filled. She needed some balance. Through several transformative years, many incredible manifestations, tons of positive affirmations and an enthusiastic gratitude practice, Tegan has transformed her lifestyle into a balanced, love-filled manifestation of gratitude. She trained to be a Vinyasa Yoga instructor through Stretch London and Suryalila in Andalucia, Spain. Yin, Vinyasa & Kids Yoga
My classes revolve around invigorating the senses, inspiring the soul and encouraging my students to discover the deeper layers of the self, assisting them in bringing positive energy and transformation into their lives. With a background in dance, movement and energy healing I also use sound and essential oils, bringing balance and fluidity for the body, mind and spirit.
I am a registered RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK, passed Affinity Yoga 300 hour teacher training, in Vinyasa and Yin, and completed my Children's teacher training under Jo Manuel of Special Yoga.
Prior to yoga, while in Los Angeles, I worked in the entertainment industry marketing for major film companies, following a career as a real estate entrepreneur. But it was yoga that turned my attention inward to truly take care of myself and my family, living a more beautiful and balanced life. I have always had an interest in a holistic lifestyle that compelled me to help others, furthering my passion to promote and support a positive and healthy well-being. I am deeply grateful for all the teachers on my journey so far, most especially my two young children.

I grew up living near the water, and I suppose because of this I’ve always been drawn to the elements; water, wind, fire, earth and sky. I’ve found these elements present in every place that I’ve been enticed to call home, which is perhaps why I feel most at home in my yoga practice, which is so interwoven with the elements.
First drawn to yoga as a philosophy student over 25 years ago, yoga has been instrumental in finding balance in my own life. It was like finding a map to better understand how to be in the world; with myself, my body, and in relationship with others. My studies of yoga include a variety of internationally renowned teachers and schools, most notably the Jivamukti and Iyengar yoga methods, which I’ve been practicing for over 15 years.
I teach the Jivamukti method, and this includes alignment cues, awareness of the breath, and plenty of music. Hands-on adjustments are a unique aspect of my classes intended to give the practitioner a better understanding of correct alignment, the energetics of asana and an awareness of the body in space.
Above all else, as a yoga teacher, a Rolfer and a human being, I aim to create a space in the world where we celebrate our individuality and co-exist with compassion.

Durga Devi, the name given to Denise Teperino by her beloved teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Life, is a former dancer and competitive gymnast who grew up in New York City. After high school, she studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and hung out in Manhattan’s East Village soaking up the downtown music and art scene.
She was introduced to Jivamukti yoga in 1994 by close friends. Asana practice felt very natural to her, but it was the chanting, the philosophy and the ancient and holy teachings of yoga that really hit home. Durga is one of the original teachers of the London Jivamukti Yoga Centre. She is Advanced Certified in the Jivamukti method and taught at the Lafayette street New York Centre for over three years before moving to the UK to assist with opening Jivamukti Yoga London centre in early 2005.

London, United KingdomJivamukti YogaNicole is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher from Switzerland. Her playlist is just as eclectic as her roots: Nicole is the daughter of a Greek / Hungarian mother and a Swiss / Dutch father, and she aims to implement those different cultures into her teaching. Nicole believes that yoga can unite body & soul but it can also bridge different cultures and languages.
Nicole started practicing yoga as a means to strengthen her neck & back after a series of back injuries she had sustained over a period of 15 years:
From a snowboarding accident in the Swiss Alps, a boating accident on the Turkish coast, to a motorbike accident in Greece: her back had been severely injured. Numerous therapies followed, but nothing seemed to help. A series of fortunate events then took her to London where she started practicing yoga. What she found during the classes was much more than she could ever have hoped for.
Not only did the yoga practice strengthen her back, but she also found inner strength & peace through her asana practice, and that is what Nicole strives to pass on in her classes.
Her assists are gentle but forceful and very much inspired by her mentor, Lady Ruth.

London, United KingdomVinyasa Flow YogaNathalie is a London based yoga teacher and creator of Eye Heart Yoga, guiding, practicing, and exploring yoga as an art and living philosophy. Her classes connect with individuals and take them on a journey, combining movement with breath to find space and ease in the body and mind. She shares yoga in an authentic, vibrant and nourishing way, encouraging curiosity, exploration and awareness, in the hope that yoga inspires people and brings magic into their lives - ultimately, enhancing life through yoga. Nathalie is passionate about sharing yoga in an accessible and relevant way. Her work includes teaching 1:1′s for illness and injury, yoga for musicians and actors, yoga programmes in care homes for the elderly, and working with athletes to optimise their physical, mental and emotional condition through yoga. Initially discovering yoga at the age of 15, it contributed significantly to her rehabilitation from a back injury. The vitality and clarity that evolved through her yoga practice over the course of 15 years, and an innate desire to share this magic with others, led her to embark on the teacher training course at Brahmani Yoga in India with Julie Martin, the same teacher Nathalie began yoga with 15 years earlier. She qualified in December 2011 and feels blessed to have been teaching regularly ever since.
London, United KingdomHimalayan Hatha Yoga, AyurvedaWith a 10 years background as a Human Resources Professional within the Financial Services sector, I started practising yoga in 2007 and ever since wanted to learn more about the philosophy behind. I appreciate the deep connection between body and soul in a way I never did before and how beneficial it is, not only physically but on a more subtle level. Through yoga I found access to myself, to my inner truth and to my soul – found peace within. In October 2010 I decided that I want to deepen this knowledge in India, the place of origin of Yoga & Ayurveda.
With the inspiration and support of my teacher Yogi Ashokananda I set off to Vrindaban in India, where this beautiful journey started. I still feel blessed for all the lovely experiences made during my trip and my studies in India and Thailand. In November 2011 – back from my trip – I started working for Wellicious, an eco-friendly, ethical yet feminine and luxurious yoga fashion brand and parallel to my work I certified as a Himalayan Hatha Yoga Teacher with Yogi Ashokananda. I am focussing on combining my professional skills with my yoga teaching and holistic skills. I am teaching in London and currently in Zurich where together with a friend we run detox weeks in spring and autumn. My passion for healthy lifestyle, helping others to understand the benefits of yoga, food, thoughts and behaviour is my vision...

London, United KingdomHolistic Ballet™, Pilates, Gyrotonic®I began my ballet training in Berlin aged six, to become a professional ballet dancer, first at the Berlin State Opera, then with the Peter Schaufuss Ballet in Denmark.I moved to London in 1997 and began teaching ballet classes to amateurs and professional companies in the UK and abroad.
When I was introduced to the Gyrotonic® system, I decided to study it intensively, so I went to New York in 2001 and began my training as an instructor. I got very interested in the rehabilitation aspect of exercising and continued to study Pilates with Stott Pilates® and James D’Silva and completed a comprehensive Yoga teacher training with Art Of Contemporary Yoga.
My experiences in all these disciplines influenced the way I teach ballet and led me to create Holistic Ballet™, an innovative new method that combines the fundamentals of classical ballet training with the modern principles of balance, alignment and core activation derived from Yoga and Pilates.
I offer private classes at my Shoreditch Studio and group classes at Danceworks. I also hold regular Danceworks in London.

London, United KingdomAsthanga & Vinyasa Flow YogaI teach Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga in London and on international yoga retreats and workshops, including Yoga Teacher Training in Goa. Ashtanga is taught in the Mysore tradition of Sri K Patabbhi Jois and Vinyasa Krama, or Hatha Flow, is an intelligent linking of poses rooted in classical yogic traditions that explores the physical, mental and subtle aspects of the practice. I consider Sri T Krishnamacharya to be the Grandfather of modern yoga and endeavor to teach all 8 limbs of ‘classical' Ashtanga in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras (200 B.C.). I'm a believer in the sacred power of yoga, the awakening of the Kundalini, and the transcendent path to Self-Realisation that Tantric mystics describe as a journey to the Divine through reverence and perfection of body, breath, mind and spirit.
Yoga philosophy is integrated with asana and breath to explore the inner/outer techniques of Vinyasa Yoga that transform the mind and body, accelerate personal growth and illuminate one's highest potential to find purpose and meaning in life. I aim to reveal the spiritual path underlying the practice and the technology to stabilize the mind, so we can shed the veils of Maya perpetuated by the ego, glimpse at our true nature and liberate ourselves from suffering. My approach is a deep physical and psychological practice that moves beyond a mere physical experience to make the spiritual yogic inquiry authentic and relevant to real life. The ultimate aim of yoga is love, liberation and freedom. Moksha.
