Ayurvedic five-nectar bath
The simplest bath involves adding 10 drops of your choice of essential oils to 2 tablespoons of base oil or milk. Swirl them around the water, get in, lie back and relax. Add a few flower petals for maximum effect. However, your bath can be as fancy as you. Here is one idea to get you started:
Ingredients:
1 Banana, Mashed
2 TBSP Milk
1 TBSP Ghee (clarified butter)
1 TBSP Yoghurt
1 TBSP Runny Organic Honey
Method:
Combine all the ingredients and plaster all over your body. Massage into your skin and then get into a warm bath. Don't rub off the mixture; just allow it to melt into the water. Relax for about 20 minutes. You can gently remove any excess mixture at the end of this time but don't scrub your skin. This bath is best taken straight before bed. |
