The New Year is traditionally a time for us to make resolutions for positive change. In this special New Year’s workshop, Yoga Master Katrina Repka will teach you how to incorporate your best intentions through the yogic practice of San Kalpa. The workshop will begin with an overview of the chakra system and then, through the practice of asana, will explore the first and second chakras (where our deepest unconscious impressions are stored). The physical practice will be followed by seated pranayama and a powerful San Kalpha meditation to nourish and activate our best intentions in order to bring them to consciousness and make them real in our lives. The 11/11/11 gateway to Aquarius is upon us. When the Kundalini master Yogi Bhajan came to the west in 1969 he said ‘I have come not to gather students but to train teachers to assist people into the age of Aquarius. The cosmic vibration changes it’s frequency from the navel chakra to the heart chakra. The heart chakra resonates with qualities of caring, sharing, unconditional love and compassion. These are just the qualities that the great Teachers of the PIscean Age - Jesus Christ, Lord Buddha, Guru Nanak - taught and cultivated.
It is interesting that diametrically opposite the Indian subcontinent lies Central America, the home of the Maya who were known in the Medicine Wheel as the Keepers of Time. They identified 2012 (though some of their Elders say the date was 28/10/11) as the beginning of the 5th Sun of Consciousness in the Tzolkin Count.
Now is the time to find compassion in your heart for you, your family, your friends and your enemies. The time is now that we recognize the need to walk our walk on the path of Dharma, the expanded consciousness of light. Guru Dharam has an international Healing and Yoga practice, and has been teaching in for over 25 years. As a Keynote speaker on matters of health, vitality, emotional intelligence for Association of Chief Executives in the UK, 2002-2005, Guru Dharam served as an educator to the business and corporate community. He has taught Kundalini yoga since 1980 and been practising Oriental medicine since 1988 when he founded the Lotus Healing Centre (London and served as the Vice Principal of the London Academy of Oriental MedicineFor further Information, please follow this Link.
