Delicious Wellicious
23rd April 2008
In my quest to get fit for summer, I’m game for any form of exercise. Enter Pilates, the master technique of the posture and pelvis control. Not wanting to let my fashionista stakes fade, I set to find some serious gear to take me through my weekly exercise classes. The truth is that when you are wearing something that makes you look and feel great, you will be pushing that extra abs crunch to look even better. An old T-shirt and a pair of baggy track pants simply won’t do the trick. Enter Wellicious, the latest addition to online shopping heaven. Full of pretty vest tops and matching pants and catsuits and Pilatina and Yogista slogan tees, especially designed for all forms of exercise. I can already see myself in the black catsuit doing the dogs, swans and mermaids without having to constantly adjust my top or pants. I spoke with Wellicious’ founder, Heike Schnell, a long-time yoga and Pilates enthusiast to find out more about this virtual wellbeing sanctuary.

Precious Wellbeing…
Published on Thursday 17th April 2008
Whether you’re a passionate yogista; whether you like to travel in both comfort and style; whether you simply yearn for an ensemble that you can throw on for everything from supermarket trips to endless school runs, new online wellbeing company, Wellicious has the answer.
When stylish founder Heike Schnell grew tired of looking for stylish yoga and pilates clothing, she decided to design her own and not long after, Wellicious was born.
Yoga, pilates and so much more… It’s a collection that’s beautifully comfortable, undeniably flattering and incredibly versatile. Jackets, t shirts, wrap tops, camis, shorts, long pants and bodies (yes they’re back) in sophisticated colours that include seashell pink, olive green and caviar black. (At the very least no woman’s wardrobe should be without a pair of the pants and a couple of the camis.)

New Year means New Year resolutions. I’ve been getting out of the yoga habit recently…actually it’s not really recent, it’s been since I got two Jack Russell puppies which seem to have taken over my mornings / life with their cheekiness and ‘take me for a walk - now’ expectedness (the lessons I’m getting from Cesar Milan on The Dog Whisperer will whip them into shape soon enough though…I hope). Anyway I digress - New Year, new me means getting back into yoga which as an exercise programme suits me down to the ground. And as an incentive to get that mat out in the morning I’ve discovered http://www.wellicious.com/ , which offers the most gorgeous selection of yoga gear - I love this caviar black catsuit for £79. All their products are sourced from ethical and sustainable sources and are sexy to boot. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to spice up your yoga apparel.
